This archive contains a Latin-English dictionary, in setext format.
The text is in 8-bit Mac encoding, without line endings: a carriage return indicates the end of a paragraph.
Setext is a slightly enhanced text format. It can be read with any text editor/word processor, but looks best when viewed with a setext-compatible browser, such as Akif Eyler's EasyView <info-mac/text/easy-view-262.hqx>.
If you have already installed EasyView just double-click on the "latin.view" file (you may need to rebuild your desktop first). You may need first to increase EasyView's RAM allocation (1024K is a good figure), because of the size of the files.
This archive is free for non-commercial uses and may be included on CD-ROMs. The original electronic text is from an anonymous source. If you consider that the time spent in converting it to setext is worth some recognition, make a donation to your favourite charity.
